This year's Open Day at King Edward Mine introduces 'The Croust Hut' and promises a range of free events and activities for all the family!
10am – 4pm, Sunday 30th April
- Bouncy castle
- Swing boats
- Face painting
- Craft stalls
- Bands, Choirs and Dancers
PLUS: experience the huge Californian Stamps running in the Mill and find refreshment in the brand new café, 'The Croust Hut'
The open day celebrates the completion of major conservation works to all the Grade II* Listed buildings at King Edward Mine and also the Grade II Listed Stamps Engine House. The extensive restoration project, part financed by the European Regional Development Fund Programme (ERDF), has secured the long-term future of King Edward Mine and will see it removed from the Historic England ‘Heritage at Risk’ register.
Congratulations again to all those involved in delivering this fantastic project!
